Back in 2019, Kevin began experimenting at home with naturally leavened pizza dough and bread. As he shared his creations with his family and friends, and they shared them with their family and friends, Kevin realized he may be on to something special and invested in a Rofco deck oven to launch a home-based organic sourdough bakery using North Carolina freshly-milled flours. Before long, demand had increased to a point where Wilmington Bread Company had outgrown the equipment. That’s when Kevin decided to open a bakery production facility in Wilmington, NC, which allowed him to expand into hand-laminated croissants, pastries, and other baked goods crafted in small batches with the finest ingredients.
